Since early childhood, Celine has lived in different multi-cultural settings and traveled extensively. She speaks 6 languages (English, Italian, Spanish, French, Arabic, Nepali) and has a deep appreciation of the world's different cultures and heritage, and yet oneness in humanity. To her, the world's cultural and physical diversity is to be likened to a beautiful painting – it is the combination of different colors, tones, and shades that creates beauty in the artifact.
Celine holds a M.A. in International and Intercultural Management - Sustainable Development from the School for International Training, Brattleboro, Vermont, and a B.A. in Political Science - International Relations from the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Celine is an international cooperation specialist with a deep passion for investigating all aspects of human nature and development, and a keen interest in promoting innovation in green and self-reliant living.
She has worked on various projects and with different international organization around the world endeavoring to facilitate sustainable development approaches; these organizations include the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Rome, Italy, the Council of the European Union in Bruxelles, Belgium, and the Mountain Forum Secretariat in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Thanks to exposure to different life realities and work settings at organizations of varied scope and size, Celine has earned a considerable understanding of international development and cooperation issues, and experience in non-profit management. She has worked on such issues as community forestry, ecotourism, energy policy, sustainable mountain development, gender dynamics, etc. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, grant-writing and fund-raising, project management, communications, research and writing, and event organizing, among others.
