Gold coast to Forster

I had about 500km to my next destination which was Forster where I had someone to stay from Warm shower (this is another club through internet which is belong to the cyclist and they offer each other accommodation). Helen was the one who I supposed to stay with her, so I had a place to rest and I could have a few hard days cycling.

I managed it for 4 days and the first 2 ones I planned to cycle 145km each and the last 2 ones 110km each.

Gold coast

After I called Barry and he gave me direction to meet him I left Com and Thomas. I loaded my bicycle and left home to meet Barry on the street. There was something very nice going to happen which was meeting Andrew Nadine after a year and half. I met him at first in Pokara in Nepal and now after a long time I was in his area and we were going to meet again. So I met Barry and put all my bags in his car and then I went to the mall to spend some money and time waiting for Andrew. He came and picked me up and took me to the rain forest and mountain where he lives. A very beautiful waterfall just 10min walk from his house and a very peaceful and quiet place.

Brisbane to Gold coast

I flew from Adelaide to Brisbane where I could meet Hamid again (my friend who I staid with in Canberra). I arrived at 11pm and cycled to near Redcliffe and Mr. Ahmad and Hamid came and picked me up from there. We arrived home about 1:30am and after having a tea and a short chat I slept. I staid there for 2 days and then left Redcliffe for Gold coast.

Adelaide

When I arrived to Adelaide I was hosted by Patrine and then I moved to Sallys house for the last 3 days. But I had received 3 answers from 3 different person in Adelaide who kindly were willing to host me, what surprised me a lot. I had to appreciate their kindness and I decided to stay with all of them. So I staid with patrine for 2 nights and then moved to Sallys house and staid there for 3 days and meanwhile I staid with Caroline 1 night. Patrine has a small project( it looks very small but in fact it isn’t ) about breeding new verities Tomatoes and mix them from north and south hemisphere. She is very keen in her job and very motivated which really inspired me. Unfortunately when I was there the weather was not so fine and mostly I was staying at home and just we went to the central market and I left there after 2 nights.

Mount Gambier and planting tree in Mulga st school

As I wrote before in Mount Gambier I am hosted by Glenys who is a member of Hospitality club. She is an old lady BUT!! Much more motivated and stronger than many young people I have ever seen. She has traveled a lot around the globe and has many stories to tell. I cant believe the way she is treating her guests. She even doesn’t let me to do my dishes and my laundry. I am getting spoiled here.

I met some very nice people but there was no way to stay longer, I was belong to the road and had to leave. Like always it was hard to leave but as I said there was no choice, I had to leave, I had to continue my life journey and go. There is some warm hands and lovely hearts waiting to touch what I am looking for.

Planting tree in Iranian school in Melbourne

There is an Iranian cultural school in Melbourne and they try to teach kids how to speak Farsi( Persian) which is their mother language. They born in Australia and they are grown in Australia as well, so their first language is English as they are studying here so it is very important for their parents to teach them how to speak their own language. As there is a big community of Iranian living in Melbourne they have one they a week to teach the kids Farsi which is every Saturday.

After nearly 3 months I am on my back to Iran. last 2 years I didnt travel much because I should spend more time in Iran working on the Association to develop it. this year also I will spend few months in Iran in order to do more work for the Association. Of course is not that easy for me to stay in Iran long time but I have an important job to do though.
I think I am almost done with Europe and my next leg of journey will be South America in 2018.
