Getting back to Switzerland

Jan
22

After that quite very cold night that I had spent in the tent, in the morning I couldn’t leave quite early because all around of my tent was frozen. At the top of my sleeping bag, there was a layer of ice. It was like a frost.  So I had to wait for the sun to rise. Likely it was a sunny day to dry up my tent and clean all the ice. Fortunately in the next night, I didn’t need to stay outside and I had a friend in Ulm. I just left around 11 o’clock.  I arrived Ulm around 5 in the evening and directly cycled to my friend’s house. I had a warm place to stay. That night was quite nice after such very cold days.

Visiting International school of Geneva

Oct
13

I visited International schoolof Geneva 2 years ago when I was in Switzerland first. It was all by chance and a simple request to hold a workshop but the vice principle Mrs Banks helped to manage 7 workshops and now after 2 years I went back to visit some of the classes.
It was so interesting to visit allthose kids again and surprizingly they remembered most of their questions from last 2 years. the most interesting question was from a 6 years old girl " what will happen when you grow up and your bicycle becomes small for you?"

Visiting International school of Geneva after 2 years

Oct
10

After 2 years I returned to Geneva again and I had the chance to visit International school in Geneva where my good firned Marci Banks is working.
I met the kids I have had met them 2 years back when they were 6 years old.
Surprisingly they remembered all the questions they have asked me 2 years ago which was kind of amazing feeling for me.  One of them had asked me " what will I do when I grow up and my bicycle becomes small for me !!"  in that time I began to laugh and answered her " I am enough grown up now...I wont go higher anymore !" and this time she were enough big to know that a person does not keep growing all his life.
I am still hoping to return there again to visit more classes.
and below is a text by Marcia Banks about my visit to the school

Mohammad visited several classes ranging in ages from 5 to 8 year olds, sharing what he does, how he lives, indirectly confronting the young children with the thought that one can live without the material goods we take for granted and still be very happy.  The warmth he exuded soon put the young children at ease as

Filippo was working there by that time and we used to hang out in Kathmandu guest house most of ev ening to chat. After nearly 8 years I wrote him to inform that I am coming Milan and I would be SO happy to meet him again.
He already knew about my project : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHnzTUqeq04
So he began to look and tried to find a way to organize a school for my workshop.  of course he has so many contacts here and ina  finger tip his friend Paola organized a school for the first day after I arrived Milan.
On Saturday 20th of September we went to the Liceo Manzoni school ( of course after having our coffee with Filippo)

Apr

"It is February, I am in the south of Iran in Bandarabbas that spring has been almost started, fragrance of mango blooms can be felt everywhere, I am here to spread the message of " we need trees" with school children, again lovely and innocent kids that can change their way of life, children are all the same, frank questions, funny reactions, freely laughing at some of my photos, I was in a class full of 10 or 11 year-old boys, they are full of energy and curiosity, I am telling them that why we need trees and why we should care about our climate and nature, they are asking me honestly and s

Workshop in Honey Bee English institute inhuncheon

Dec
05

I met Katie in Chuncheon in my first visit in that city.
I knew her for a while in FB and here I had a chance to meet her in person and she organized me to come over again and talk to her students about my project.
BAsically if I am goig to write about visiting school, I would write the same thing as I do always which is quite boring and here I just copied an email from Katie. I will alsoo add some of the feedbacks from students to this journal when I have them.
To see my students genuinely interested in a topic is no small gift. To see them genuinely interested in a topic and want to talk about it is transforming. Mohammad's visit was special, not just because his story is interesting and inspiring, but because he engages students, and then encourages them to think about important issues facing our planet today.
He brings the world into the classroom, making it small enough for students to hold in their hands and analyze from different angles. Korean students are typically pretty shy, so I was really surprised

Planting tree in Seoul Foreign School

Oct
24

I just posted on my FB that I am going to S Korea. Straight away I received a comment from a friend in Bratislava. Urusla is the one who I was staying with them when I was there.
Urusla send an email to her friend in Seoul who is teaching in Seoul Foreign School and they kindly invited me to stay with them and also Ryan organized few classes to visit and have my workshops.
I couldn’t visit Sophie’s class because she had a quite packed schedule but still I had a chance to have a quick look at her class which was still good enough.
we didn’t plant a tree when I had my workshops in Ryan classes but we agreed to manage it to plant a tree after 2 days when I was going to leave Seoul

I have been in Iran quite a long time. I am here to develop the WNT Association in Iran which takes lots of time and energy. But it definitally is needed to spend this time here to have the Association working.
To be honest it is not easy for me to stay somewhere longer than a month and is getting super hard but in the other hand I have no choice. Just need to be patient and concentrate on this work.
Hopefully I can manage it sooner to be free again and continue my journey. I am also looking for a publisher to publish my book.
