I am still cycling through west of Iran in Kurdistan province, where I can experience extreme winter. The reason I decided to take this challenge was to be able to feel real seasons, specially real winter. Unfortunately years by years we are missing snow and there are always less perseptions in winter.
Will be pity to have only an image from winter and I like to feel it real. After Zanjan I had many passes, highest one was 2600m whch is quite high for winter and lots of snow.
I mostly camp at nights but in cities I can stay with friends.
One night also I stayed in a mosque because next day I had to cycle 110 km through mountains which is quite a lot for winter.
That night I stayed in mosque, so I didnt need to warm up next morning also didnt need to pack everything and I could save sometimes.
I left my bike in Sanandaj and I went to Tehran for 4 days to speak in a seminar.
I went back to Sanandaj with overnight bus and lack of sleep for few nights made me damn tired.
I started cycling at 12am but just after 2 hours I felt I had no power in my legs. I just went somewhere to camp and that night I slept like 13 hours.
Next day I was so fresh and I could continue cycling again.
My last part was to go through a high pass which was already full of snow. 
I was on my way to climb the pass but because of storm and snow, I was almost stuck which a pick up gave me a lift to the top of the pass and I just descend afterward even though even descending was damn hard because of cold.
I arrived to a vilage called Uraman Takht and I went to a hotel to recover my mind and body and and because of lots of snow, I had to stay 2 nights here.
Still is snowing hard and I hope to be able to leave tomorrow morning.
