Meeting valunteers of “Pasadi Derevo”

In Almaty I send some request to few member of CS ( Couch Surfing club ) and I got 2 positive response. One of the people who answered me was Aigerim who actually I supposed to stay with her. While I was sending request I mentioned about my project and Aigerim introduced me to Dauren. Dauren is some kind of manager of a volunteering group who are planting trees and also they have permission from ministry of education to visit schools and plant trees with kids which is actually what I am doing myself, so there was some kind of possibility to co-operate with them. I contacted Dauren first day and we went for a bicycle ride with his wife. He showed me some different places which they have planted trees. They gather every week on Thursday talking about environment, so they invited me to join them to present my journey but Thursday could be my last day in Almaty because my visa expires then. Dauren managed to gather on Tuesday and we did. There is some kind of very nice cozy place people can sit around and chat. We went there and I presented my project. We were talking about what we can do individually but anyway the conversation actually shifted to my personal life style and the way I travel which was quite nice conversation.
