Members of “We Need Trees” planted 360 trees in Iran


On Friday 8 Mar 2013, the last day of last week of winter in Iran, a group of people and the members of ” DOLFAK” Climbing group gathered at the highest place in Lahidjan called “BameSabz” to plant 360 Tree saplings (300 Chestnuts and 60 Pine trees ) in order tocelebrate the tree plantingday. About 80 men and women participated in this program with cooperation of the Natural Resources Office and “Ahrar” telecabin Co. It was planned to plant 60 pinesaplings in the area around the First Station of telecabin and 300 chestnuts in second station. The day before that, a few members of “DOLFAK” with the assistance of natural resources office employees marked the planting places to not only save time but also make this planting more effective. The program began at 7 AM, it had been snowing science the day before and members of “DOLFAK” along with the people of Lahidjan began planting their trees joyfully in cold weather of mountains morning.After finishing the planting in the first station all these people were transferred to the second station with Telecabin thank to the cooperation of “AHRAR” CO. The second station area was covered with snow and members started to clean the marked spots before planting the tree saplings. The program finished at 1 PM. At the end of the project, they were all wet, tired and cold but they were warm and happy inside. We hope that one day these saplings become strong trees to make our world beautiful and our and next generation benefit from them.

I finally finished the careterra Austral, where I visited almost one of the most beautiful plarts of the planet. more than 1000 km through dirt roads and paved ones, a lot of hills and anormos number of rivers and lakes It is really hard to say goodbye to this part but I should keep going on and continue through my way to encounter another beautiful places and lovely people. I am going to miss you Patagonia.
