Members of “We Need Trees” planted 400 trees in Iran

In the last month of winter, a few weeks to spring in Iran, a group of environmentalists and the members of ” We Need Trees ” project, at Friday 22th Feb 2013 , had a gathering near Dehbaar village ( 30km from Mashhad ) to plant 400 Juniper trees ( in Persian= Ors ) to celebrate spring coming. Around 150 men and women, old and young, take part in this project with cooperation of We Need Trees project and Forrests and Natural Resources and Miniature Co.

The program began at 9 AM , and everybody did planting their trees joyfully in nice weather of mountains morning , and the program finished at 1 PM .
In the end , these friends of nature in a beautiful and memorizable day drank hot drink and took pictures together , hoping that someday themselves or their children will have lots of good times in the shade of these little trees of today and big ones of tomorrow and enjoy the cool weather of mountains ..
with hope for that day …
