Yalda night

Yalda night

In persian custom persians celebrate the longest night all over the year which is called Yalda . From Yalda night the nights are getting shorter and the days are getting longer , so people in Iran respect Yalda due to they belive that light and live is comming . There is a custom in Iran that people gathered to oldest one of their family and the make a small party , and they eat some frouts specially watermelon and stc , also in Yalda some men that they are engajed , they bring some jewllery and another valued gifts to their future wife . Must of the time in Iran I was in my friends house in Yalda for instance I was at Amir zarrin,s houst last 2 years , but this year I was on the road . After long cycling during the day I was looking for a place to rest in Gujranwala that a man gave me a place to rest and after a few minute some of his frinds gathered there and we talked .so it was very nice to have a celebration in Yalda with some pakistanis guys in very small room . we prepared some thing to eat and one of them singed very nice .so I was really happy that I could experianc a new Yalda in different way .

Last Update About Me

30 November  2025

I finally left Colombia after 3 months. It was an amazing experience and I enjoyed it a lot. Normally every year I go back Iran to visit my mom but last year I was not able to do so. At the moment I am in Istanbul airport waiting for my connection flight to take me to Tehran. I will stay there 2-3 days before I go to Mashhad to visit my mom.
