I left Cochabamba for La Paz, just climbing to the alti plano of Andes mountain. It was an amazing day, full moon and since it was near the 16 of August which is the independent day in Bolivia, in every place there was a festival.

After Retiro, I went to Barichara where I was planning to meet an Iranian friend who came to visit Colombia. Mehrdad also brought my tiers with him. So, no longer I am worried about my worn out tiers.
After few days with Mehrdad and other friends I came to Cartagena by bus to visit Hamid, an iranian friend who lives in the US and is a professional traveler.
I will stay with him few days before I go back to my bike to continue my journey southward.
